Hello! Please call me "Little Frog"- that is my medicine name as given to me by Spirit during my first Vision Quest, a 4 day/4 night solo fast I undertook in the wilderness of the Green Mountain National Forest of Vermont. I recently completed a second Vision Quest in the mile-high desert area known as the Valley of the Gods in southeastern Utah.
My path is that of the healer/teacher. I work with the living and the departed; I work on the body and the mind. My calling started by reading "The Way of the Shaman", Michael Harner's seminal work on core shamanism, and I taught myself shamanic journeying using his book as my reference guide. I was later guided to the Foundation for Shamanic Studies website; the FSS is the organization Michael Harner founded to preseve the shamanic methods of indigenous peoples worldwide. I have (and continue to) studied shamanic healing, soul retrieval, divination and other shamanic techniques with FSS instructors Nan Moss and David Corbin. I am currently enrolled in the FSS 3 year advanced shamanic program. I have completed the FSS two week healing intensive workshop. I have completed the 5 day Harner Shamanic Counseling workshop under the guidance of FSS instructor April Tuck. I have completed Betsy Bergstrom's weeklong Compassionate Depossession intensive. I am an ordained minister of the Circle of the Sacred Earth church. My personal spiritual library consists of over 500 books covering Spirituality, Shamanism, Depossession, Death, Past Lives, Life Between Lives, Alternative Healing Modalities, Dreamwork, Lucid Dreaming, and Native American Practices.
My primary focus areas are shamanic extraction healing (removal of pain and other problems), death and dying counseling, teaching, and depossession of people and places (primarily distressed and non-beneficial spirits).
